An old farmhouse in Tuscany transformed into a residence, fresh from renovation
Villa in a green and slightly hilly area in the Lucca countryside, just a few km from the historic center, surrounded by a 600 sqm garden and a quiet and sunny context.
The house develops on only two floors: on the ground floor, open onto a private 600 sqm garden, there are the common areas: the country-style kitchen with a central round table and a marble-top island, a living room with a fireplace and a relaxation room. The furniture is a mix of antique pieces, many found on site, vintage furniture and lamps purchased at Italian and foreign markets, and contemporary production objects. The large living room with open-plan kitchen, accessible through two large porticos, bathroom and laundry room on the ground floor; one bedroom with en-suite bathroom and two bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor.
The rooms are five and, like in all real homes, each one is different. The owners have tried to enhance their authenticity, selecting for each room a few functional furniture pieces that let the original features speak, such as the cementine in the bathrooms, the ceiling beams, and the exposed brick of a restored fireplace.
The villa is equipped with underfloor heating, external and internal alarm systems.
